Today's banner by Mark Bartlett: When the tramway to Fleetwood opened in 1899 it terminated in Bold Street, with a two road stop, the tracks continuing into a depot holding four tramcars. The depot, behind the North Euston Hotel, closed in 1920 but was leased out to businesses until being demolished in 1973. This grey block of flats occupies the depot site. In 1925, the two track terminus was replaced by the single line looping round past the ferry terminal that continues in use to this day. 'Flexity' 001 is just arriving from Starr Gate on 1st May 2024.
